- They follow two recent rounds of reconciliation talks, one in China and one in Russia. China's foreign ministry declined to comment.

- The regulator said the present board chairperson can continue up to March 31, 2026 or till they complete their current tenure.

- State Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has said that after the state’s bifurcation, it has been given a raw deal and remained short of resources.
- In a statement, Naidu had said, “It is the responsibility of the Centre to implement the AP Reorganisation Act, 2014, and fulfil the promises made, including giving the Special Category Status to AP.”
- The demand for the special category status for the southern state has been a constant issue ever since the inception of Telangana in 2014.
